Last August, Owens Corning completed the issuance of its first green bond. The $450-million bond is payable over 10 years. In conjunction with the said bond, the company is committed to spend a whopping $445 million on eligible projects focused on sustainability.
Owens Corning has been dedicated to operating an enterprise that benefits both its shareholders and the environment. The funds are used to further the company’s efforts related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and eco-friendly products, technologies, and processes.
